Sandy FredrickHolding a BSN degree from Spalding University, Sandy enjoyed a thirty-year career in nursing, which included corporate level management and hospice care. Retiring to her studio in 2007, she has devoted her full attention to the woodturning, which first captured her heart in 1999. “The hidden nuances that a log or piece of wood contains stimulates my imagination throughout the process of turning. The creative process often must default to what the wood allows – this is always a welcome challenge.” Back to artist list |
