Pam Tallman

A Kentucky native, Pam began painting in watercolor while living in North Haven, Connecticut. Having lived in much area in the United States, she now resides in Crestwood and is an active member of the Kentucky Watercolor Society and has been painting professionally since 2002. She had the privilege of being invited to study in Monet’s Garden in Giverny, France on “Artist’s Monday” when the garden is closed to the general public. This was a wonderful time for learning and reflecting in a most remarkable place.

The greatest gift Pam has received from painting is the ability to see with the artist’s eye all that is. The beauty of watercolor, for her, lies in the seductive, translucent glow and interplay of colors as they mix on the paper to create wonderful surprises. Pam has exhibited in galleries throughout the U.S. most recently at Mad About Art and Artemesia in Louisville. Her work is her gift to us, not to mention a wonderful surprise.
