Arts on the Green - June 4-5, 2011Be on the creative side of the tracks with the 12th annual Arts on the Green, a fine arts and crafts show, on June 4th and 5th, 2011. LaGrange Courthouse square comes to life with original, handcrafted painting/drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, glass, jewelry, mixed media, consumables, metal and wood, and fiber, juried in by artists, business associates and art enthusiasts. The opening morning of Arts on the Green, judges with expertise in the nine categories, select the award winners for each category and then the overall Best of Show. Best of Show winner is the Featured Artist at the 2012 Arts on the Green. Arts on the Green stands out with volunteers’ hospitality who offer assistance throughout the 2 day show and set-up/breakdown; appreciation of your artworks as a business, breakfast Saturday and Sunday to get the mornings started, and security patrols Friday and Saturday nights. Join us for the best ever BBQ Saturday evening featuring music and relaxation, on picturesque grounds with the opportunity to meet other artists and members of the Arts Association of Oldham County.
